Thanks to all who posted. I recently talked to my friend erin again and asked her whould she dress her kids desire her and her say was yes to my supprise so I had to enlighten her about all the issues everyone has stated on here. Yes. I do feel that forcing kids to do things is in no way to handle the situation but when I did this poll I was talking about teenie little kids desire from birth to about 5 she was stating that if I had kids I should completely abandon my preferences of lifestyle and play perfect soccer mom. Yeah alter there's no way. Therefore this poll was started.

Shit evaluate of all the extra measure I'm gonna have lol. express your little friend that she is WAY off. I undergo had to work a little harder to show that I'm not just some punk kid playing mommy but now I am in and accepted. I get a lot of the parents who have kids in the elementary educate and older kids in the high school ask me questions. They want to experience if I experience this bind or that type of clothing. And if its OK for there kids to have. The people that know me respect me and use my differences to fill a need. But I had to bring home the bacon really hard to get myself back after having the kids. I'm comfort working on it.
LOL!!!! I'm a soccer Mum too Kasmira and yes it has been hard at times but it is rewarding and my son Julian loves playing. I be him happy first and foremost and to be a good person. He's very intelligent and loves his soccer he is much nicer to other kids (even when I am not there to see) so I must be doing something right. I see a lot of mean little children and often wonder why their parents aren't taking the time to teach them exceed. My son is 8 and the girls his age (the majority) are quite bitchy already change surface worse than when I was at educate. The boys are a little exceed from what I see. I am amazed to see the sexism racism and bigotry they go up with. You live what you learn...
I agree. My Nan used to direct seance's use the ouiji come in and do the tarot. She also used to put up cardboard tanks in the war! ( To make the enemy think there were alot more tanks than there actually were). My Dad used to do the Runes ouiji board and the tarot where I do the tarot and the runes. I do have a large crystal ball but I haven't a roll with that it just looks pretty on the blast surround. I bought my daughter her first set of tarot cards when she was 10 only to keep her away from mine. I DO NOT do the ouiji as I feel that to be to dark and I have heard of so many things go wrong with it.

[And forgive me for missing it somewhere but what does the HTTE rest for?] Ours have just grown up with our gothness as accent; it's just who we are and what we enjoy whether in change or decorating music books & films the way we get together holidays (and which ones!). They've always been remove to decide how to dress what to like -- we had many years of Barbie pink & purple clothing. Disney princesses on everything piles of painfully cute stuffed animals all the girlie stuff but as they've grown older (and especially when the hormones started to rise) they've embraced their darker sides each in her own personal style. If we'd tried to forge them in our image from the go away what could they do but dissent (or worse submit without seeking out who they really are)? As it is now we do about 6 loads of dark laundry for every one of lighten and have to dry many filmy lacey things that wouldn't defeat the dryer. (If it has Edward Scissorhands or Corpse Bride on it it's the younger daughter's.) My teen likes to sew or DIY her own looks the younger's a T-shirt & jeans kid while I'm definitely romantigoth and their daddy looks desire a Rider of Rohan. Just gotta live the way you live and let them absorb what works for them and find what else they desire out in the big ol' world. Though I do wish they'd return my goth CDs when they've finished listening to them (breathe).

See. I never thought of that. When I was pregnant I just kept saying there is no way in hell that I'm going to go out and buy those pretty frilly outfits for my kid. I had lost both of my children in miscarriges unfortunately but I evaluate I would have my baby feature the funny little shirts that I want them to feature. I think a child would be fine to pick what they be to wear when they get older and decide things for themseves. I wouldn't have my child in black all the time. I would change things out so my child could choose what they wanted to be from a veriaty of things. change surface if my child didn't be to be goth i would love them and support them anyway. That is what a good parent does they love and give their child in any of there decitions.
Before I had my daughter I was dead set against anything that was go or had change surface a smattering of go. The minute she was old enough to end that she preferred one thing over another the first thing she went after was pink! I tried and tried to get her away from it to no avail so eventually I gave up and just let her do her thing. She is most certainly not goth but she toys with it from measure to time (I think mostly because her friends evaluate I'm pretty interesting). But in the end she is who she is and I give her in it. The one thing that I have learned trying to change up Goth is that there is nothing more miserable than trying to pretend you are something you are not and I would hate to see her struggle as much as I did through my adolescence.
True but I'd lay out it is also the responsibility of a loving parent to help their child as much as possible. Occasionally age does bring a perspective that youth lacks: you wish to forbid them making at least some of the mistakes you made.

Kids always will make their own mistakes. Let's face it every generation thinks it is the first to discover "sex drugs and move back and forth'n'turn"(Quick aside to all our teen members: That evening when you come domiciliate as pissed as a carrot and praise yourself that you managed to hide it from your parents: We knew. We can remember doing the claim same thing and now we know that our parents also knew.)If you love your kids you still want to save them some of the heartache if you can.
