Hey! I am 13.. really not into the typical Hollister/American Eagle wear.. so I was wondering if anyone could share some clothing sites they really like! How do describe my style.. well... Im NOT preppy... not gothic... maybe more around skater wear? I don't really know since im VERY picky about my clothes. I just want them to be my own so just post the link... Please no Aeropostale. I’m getting create from raw material to replace my computer. My favorite websites

As I set out to find five “neat” websites. I found myself in a droop. I tend to stick to two websites: Facebook and MyBama. Since we could not exposit the importance of these two. I simply googled “neat websites” but I had no luck. Then I realized that I do tour websites but I don’t think of them so much as websites rather as stores. After reviewing my recent history of searches. I traveled to a few of them keeping an eye out for good design. My favorite website was www jcrew com. This website featured a video intro with a slideshow of pictures and a narrator. What was neat about the video was that the background music narrator clothing scenery all matched one central furnish: “greeting the season from the isle of skye”. With bagpipes and a rich Scottish evince. I felt like I was actually overseas and I really enjoyed looking at the different clothing options. Another websites that I thoroughly enjoyed was www ralphlauren com. This place also featured a video but it had a noticeably different style. With soothing classical music and alter videos of snapshots created a very “classy” conclude. The fonts also matched this call with serifs giving a gothic look. The layout of this summon was symmetrical and also featured a good use of white lay along the outside. The third website I enjoyed was www juicycouture com. This also featured a video but it was humorous. I really enjoyed the synchronized reflect effects on the label and crowns. The fonts also matched the logo creating a rich. British mood. The fourth website I enjoyed that would be appealing to both sexes was www nike com. This website again featured a video of at first glance looks like a football game. Upon closer examination. I realized that this was actually a video bet playing but the graphics were so well developed that it looked real. This video appears to pop from the darker accent although it doesn’t look 3-D the background looks like it fades and has depth. The fonts are very fold and the place as a whole is very unisex which could challenge to a wider be of people. The last website I visited was www lacoste com. The main difference between this site and the others was that this site did not feature a video. However the cerebrate I included this site was because of the creativity in which they introduced pictures. This place was asymmetrical with a white space box with no defined borders. Every few seconds a new model/style would weaken.

The authors of this comic seem to have an understanding of the Gothic Imagination- their color plot is a bleak grey color and white palate. The room is furnished with a candelabra and wrought-iron bed. These tactics act the “antiquated space” so strongly associated with the gothic. The young girl in the lay can be said to be absorbed with the past- vampires are an ancient superstition- and associated with secrets- the undead don’t exactly go openly exposed among the public. The very nature of a vampire’s being- not alive yet not dead- blurs the line between the natural and the supernatural. Ann Radcliffe does not broach with anything supernatural in The Veiled Picture. All events that at first appear to be so are explained by physical realities either immediately after the thrill of terror they created undergo subsided or certainly by the end of the novel. inspect in point: “As she mused se saw the door slowly change state and a rustling sound in a remote part of the room startled her…her affright however soon subsided on perceiving it was her faithful dog” (Radcliffe 32-330. This comic deals directly with the supernatural through the allusion to vampires. But similar to Radcliffe the belief in the supernatural carries the image not the reality of the supernatural. Vampires are never said to be true or false in the comic nor do they be in the image as specters are never justified in The Veiled Picture. But the engrave’s belief in the possibility creates the tension necessary to provide the story with the horror that makes it gothic. 3. In what ways if any does this modern comic designate a connection to the history and beginnings of the Gothic imagination? In my mind this music would have to be targeted to a very specific audience- an audience that wears color lipstick and combat boots on days that may or may not be Halloween. This is not something that reaches the Billboard Top 20. I create by mental act it would be sold at stores desire Hot Topic or independently-owned record stores or maybe brought out at Halloween as a specialty item. I think that (other than the Halloween buyers) anyone buying these albums would undergo a closer tie to the ‘true’ gothic tradition than perhaps someone who reads and relates to the Rebecca’s Realm comics. They might undergo a greater awareness of the historical gothic tradition than a person who bites off bat’s heads.5. Do you evaluate these bands are effective at conveying an atmosphere and/or feeling? Why or why not? Do you desire this music?
