Playhouse Gothique will direct auditions for it's Core Acting & Technician Company on Sunday November 11 from Noon til 3pm and Monday November 12 from 7pm to 9pm. This is for the workshop of the original script at this time. Full show casting will begin when the workshop is finished and the compose is set for production. We are a Volunteer. Community Based. Gothique Troupe of Players that works with ACE Theatre. We workshop and premiere original works as come up as classics with a darker theme ( horror mystery. Shakespeare/Jaccobian. Black Comedy) to them. We use a lot of production value and spectacle in our performances including costumes sets. Special Make-up and Masks. Mulitmedia Audio and Visual. Many of our existing affiliate members are professionals in the local film and theatre industry. Our First show is an Original Dracula project--The affiliate is forming to Workshop the rest of 2007 through 2008 and World Premiere in Oct of 2008 at ACE Theatre. It is being Directed by cerebrate Artistic Director of Playhouse Gothique-- Bonnie Hewett. Produced by ACE Theatre's-- Wayne Landon. The auditions will be at ACE Theatre in the Black Box/Studio space--which we ordain work and perform out of. We are seeking all persons men and women over age 17 ( You must be able to attend an R rated movie on your own we are not doing children's projects.) to death in age range. There are many wonderful roles from Bram Stoker's Novel available including The Nosferatu Count Dracula--some roles have been direct through previous private perform. There are aprox 20 roles available in the script--more may develop over the workshop processWe ask you to go prepared with a monologue that will show a good emotional arc. And it should be around 2 to 3 minutes in length. Also if you are a Dracula fan please speak up about what role you are interested in from the Book (Renfield is taken). We are not casting the beat show just yet--Sorry if there was confusion----Casting the major parts for compete Script development Workshop Process that will result in a public reading in late January of 2008 is what we are casting now. Roles needed filling are: Dracula. Quincy Morris. Lucy. Sir Henry Irving. ennoble Holmwood and a few supporting parts are needed for the workshop.
REMINDER:core out company audituions for PHG Acting. Technical and act troupes are this weekend. Nov 11 ( noon til 3pm) and 12 ( 7pm to 9pm) at ACE Theatre.
