This album is fun and the production is certainly a bargain-basement mess but the songwriting does not quite match the inebriated unpredictability of their icons. Satanic Funeral act some nicely stripped-down old-school Black Metal which hovers nicely between the first and second gesticulate sounds but the songwriting is pretty orthodox and lacks the insanity that was a Beherit hallmark.
